Community Service

Dr. Louise Merves-Okin is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for her fellow Americans. She is a volunteer and board officer of NAMI - the National Association for Mental Illness - where her mission is to assist families of adolescents with severe emotional problems. Through her leadership in this endeavor, these children and their families learn how to cope with their problems and lead positive, more fulfilling lives. Dr. Merves-Okin also seeks to increase health awareness among women. She is a participant in an exercise video series designed to raise money for breast cancer.
